Job Description
Dark Kulture is a newly launched, Singapore-based brand specializing in high-end alternative fashion. We are built on a foundation of professional curation, quality materials, and a sophisticated aesthetic that bridges the gap between specialized design and alternative style.
We are looking for a Fashion Stylist & Content Creator to join our growing team. We are open to candidates seeking a Freelance, Part-Time, or Internship arrangement. You should have a sharp eye for detail and a passion for bringing an elevated, accessible edge to the alternative fashion landscape.
Styling & Creative Direction
- Editorial Styling: Act as a key stylist for the brand, conceptualizing looks that showcase our apparel’s unique silhouettes and specialized materials in a way that feels both premium and wearable.
- Creative Direction: Plan and direct studio and on-location photoshoots, ensuring every frame reflects a polished, intentional aesthetic.
- Expert Guidance: Provide advice on garment care and material-specific styling, helping our audience feel confident and informed.
Content Production & Execution
- Short-Form Storytelling: Conceptualize, shoot, and produce engaging reels and posts that prioritize authentic storytelling and visual “mood.”
- Educational Long-Form: Develop and host content for YouTube, focusing on educational styling tips, “how-to-wear” guides, and deep dives into alternative fashion materials.
- The Edit: Use CapCut, Lightroom, and Canva or similar to maintain a cohesive brand aesthetic.
- Strategy: Assist in managing a content calendar focused on new collections, pop-ups, and brand milestones.
The Essentials
- Styling Expertise: A background (or strong portfolio) in fashion styling, editorial direction, or fashion photography. You understand how to elevate a garment through composition and lighting.
- Technical Skillset: Proficient in CapCut and Lightroom with an eye for color grading. Experience with YouTube production is a major plus.
- On-Camera Presence: Charismatic and comfortable hosting video content, with the ability to explain styling concepts clearly and engagingly.
Eligibility:
- Freelance & Part-Time: Must be a Singaporean or Permanent Resident (PR).
- Internship: Open to Singaporeans, PRs, and International Students currently enrolled in MOM-approved institutions in Singapore (holding a valid Student Pass).
Working Arrangement
This role can be structured as Freelance, Part-Time, or an Internship depending on your experience level and availability.
Location: Hybrid. Based in our coworking space in Bendemeer, with occasional on-site shoots around Singapore and flexibility for remote work.
Ready to help build the brand? Apply with your portfolio, social handles, and a brief summary of your styling philosophy. Please indicate if you are applying for a Freelance, Part-Time, or Internship position.
