Event Operations Intern
LAMC Presents
Are you passionate about live events, concerts, comedy shows, and entertainment? Join our team as an Event Operations Intern and gain hands-on experience in the planning and execution of live events from pre-production to show day.
Responsibilities
Pre-Event Planning
- Assist in coordinating event logistics and operational requirements.
- Support internal meetings and prepare meeting notes, schedules, and action items.
- Assist with communication between artist management, venues, hotels, vendors, sponsors, and event partners.
- Help prepare event documents, schedules, transport plans, and operational timelines.
- Coordinate the production of event collaterals including signages, passes, wristbands, credentials, and other event materials.
- Research suppliers and assist with procurement-related tasks.
- Assist in gathering ticketing information, admission categories, and event details.
Event Operations
- Support the operations team during rehearsals, load-ins, sound-checks, and show day.
- Assist with artist, crew, and guest management.
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, production crew, and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
- Monitor event schedules and help troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
- Ensure all event areas are prepared and operational before doors open.
Administrative Support
- Assist with preparing proposals, reports, and presentations.
- Support invoice tracking, document filing, and administrative tasks.
- Maintain event databases, supplier contacts, and operational records.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Events Management, Hospitality, Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive, resourceful, and willing to take initiative.
- Passion for live entertainment, concerts, comedy, and events.
- Available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools is a plus.
