Who We Are

WHO WE ARE
Sloth Creatives is a boutique studio in Singapore built on one belief: imperfect is true storytelling. We shoot weddings, brand films and lifestyle work, much of it on analog film (Super 8, 16mm, 35mm, 120), because it slows everyone down and pulls something honest out of the room. We're also a growing house of brands, including Still Hour, our matcha and slow living drinks brand, and Slow Frames, our analog photography and framing studio.

If you want to make more than wedding films, you're in the right place.

Job Description

THE ROLE

You’ll take projects from idea to final cut: concept, moodboard, shoot, edit. Most of your work will be weddings and brand films, with room to shoot for our own brands and the in-house series documenting how we work.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Develop concepts, moodboards and treatments for couples and brands
  • Direct, shoot and edit projects end to end
  • Shoot on analog formats (we’ll teach you)
  • Create social content for clients, our brands and our in house series

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A portfolio that shows taste and storytelling, not just nice footage
  • 1+ years shooting and editing, strong in Premiere Pro
  • Confidence running a shoot and working with clients
  • An eye for composition, design and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Availability for weekend shoots (five day week, with weekdays off in lieu)

WHAT YOU GET

  • $3000 to $3500 per month, depending on experience
  • Real ownership of your projects and a voice in what we make next
  • Hands on time with Super 8, 16mm and medium format
  • A new office and a small team that cares about the work but doesn’t take itself too seriously

HOW IT WORKS

Every new hire starts with an internship phase, with the length depending on your experience, before converting to full time. It’s our way of making sure the fit is right on both sides. The intention is never to keep you as an intern, but to find someone who will grow with us and take ownership of their own work.
