Retail Associate / Client Advisor (Part-time & Full-time)

Job Description

We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Retail Associate to join our team at ASSEMBLE and ACCENT.

This is a customer-facing role within a contemporary tailoring and fashion environment. You will guide clients through our collections, understand their preferences, and help them select pieces that suit their needs, lifestyle, and occasion.

Beyond sales, you will play an important part in shaping each client’s experience—from their first visit to fitting, collection, and after-sales follow-up.

          Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients and provide attentive, professional service.
• Understand each client’s needs, style preferences, and occasion.
• Introduce clients to our ready-to-wear, made-to-measure, and bespoke offerings.
• Provide thoughtful styling and product recommendations.
• Assist with client appointments, fittings, and garment collections.
• Manage enquiries through WhatsApp, telephone, email and social media.
• Follow up with potential and existing clients in a warm and professional manner.
• Build lasting relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.
• Process sales transactions, deposits, and payments accurately.
• Maintain updated client records, appointment details, and order information.
• Ensure the boutique, fitting rooms, and merchandise displays remain presentable.
• Assist with stock-taking, receiving inventory, and monitoring product availability.
• Support boutique events, launches, trunk shows, and promotional activities.
• Work closely with the tailoring and operations teams to ensure a smooth client journey.

• Able to understand client needs without being overly pushy.
• Well-groomed, presentable, and attentive to detail.
• Organized and able to manage several appointments and inquiries at once.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, email, point-of-sale systems, and basic digital tools.
• Able to work independently while contributing to a small, collaborative team.
• Willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Previous experience in fashion retail, hospitality, luxury service, or customer-facing sales is preferred.
• Candidates without direct retail experience may also be considered if they demonstrate strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
