Beyond The Vines is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Singapore, with a physical and online retail presence in Singapore and the region.
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Assistant Retail Manager to join our team! You’ll work closely with the Retail team to leverage performance indicators, adapting to daily business adjustments and challenges to ensure optimal performance that aligns with our company’ goals. We’re looking for a passionate advocate for our brand values—someone who can foster a vibrant environment that reflects our spirit and makes every customer interaction a celebration of what we stand for. Leading by example, you’ll ensure our service language and tone shine through, inspiring the team to deliver radical service that enhances the overall shopping experience at Beyond The Vines.
Responsibilities include:
Strategy:
- Collaborate with the Retail Manager to develop, assess, and implement effective retail strategies based on the company’s directions.
- Review market trends and competitive analysis with Retail Manager to ensure sustainable growth and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment.
People Development:
- Conduct regular reviews with the Retail Manager to develop and implement strategies to continually improve store operations, service standards, and team culture.
- Support the Retail Manager and People Operations team in dealing with issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances, etc.)
Service:
- Leading by example, enhance customer experience by maintaining service standards and consistently communicating the brand’s culture through our service language and tone.
- Partner with Retail Manager in implementing community engagement projects such as store activations and initiatives to build brand love and loyalty on the retail front.
Operations:
- Work with the Retail Manager to manage day-to-day store operations and optimise retail processes for improved productivity.
- Oversee general store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
- Work with the Retail Manager to achieve sales goals and enhance customer experience by leading the Brand Crew and Brand Leaders.
- Provide feedback for store inventory levels and ensure the highest level of inventory accuracy.
- Maintain outstanding store condition and optimal display of merchandise on floor by working closely with the Visual Merchandising team.
Requirements include:
- Minimally 3-4 years of experience in retail store management for similar fashion/lifestyle/e-commerce brands with a global presence.
- Working a variety of shifts, including weekends/public holidays.
- Energetic and self-motivated, with an emphasis and belief in strong customer service and experience.
- A dynamic communicator, you excel in mentoring and coaching both full-time and part-time retail crew.
- Keen understanding and interest in fashion/lifestyle trends and brands.
