Job Description

Digital Marketing & Social Media Intern

Are you a strategic and creative thinker looking for a stepping stone into digital marketing and social media? This internship is designed to give you guided training and hands-on experience across social media, content marketing, research, digital campaigns, and content production.

You won’t just observe from the sidelines. You’ll work alongside our team on real client and in-house projects, contribute ideas, conduct research, help manage social media accounts, and participate in content and photoshoots.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn how to operate a camera and assist on professional photoshoots and content productions, giving you practical exposure to how digital content goes from an idea to a finished campaign.

About Us

We’re digital natives who combine different marketing disciplines to help businesses grow.

We understand that no two businesses are alike, which is why we develop bespoke digital solutions across social media marketing, content creation, funnel optimisation, brand conceptualisation, paid advertising, influencer campaigns, web development, SEO and community management.

Our team supports clients across different industries with one clear goal: delivering consistent brand exposure, quality leads and increased revenue.

What You’ll Learn

Throughout the internship, you’ll gain practical exposure to:

• Social media strategy and content planning
• Social media research and trend analysis
• Competitor and industry research
• Content ideation and copywriting
• Proposal and pitch development
• Community management
• Digital marketing campaigns
• Basic analytics and performance reporting
• Photography and content production
• Camera operation and basic shoot techniques
• Photoshoot preparation and on-set coordination
• How an agency manages multiple clients and campaigns simultaneously
• You’ll be guided by the team, but we also expect you to become increasingly independent as you learn.

Our Culture

We Are Digital Natives:
Our team is constantly exploring what’s happening online, from new social formats and platform changes to emerging technology and AI tools.

Output-Oriented:
We value efficiency, ownership and quality. What matters is producing good work and delivering it on time.

Learning Culture:
We encourage questions, experimentation and knowledge sharing. New ideas are welcome, and we believe trial and error is part of becoming better at what you do.

Collaborative:
Agency work involves different people contributing to the same outcome. You’ll work with account managers, strategists, designers, content creators and other interns.

Responsibilities

Social Media & Content

• Assist in managing social media accounts for both clients and Creative For More.
• Research content ideas, trends, competitors and relevant conversations across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and Facebook.
• Support the development of monthly content calendars and social media strategies.
• Write and adapt captions, content concepts and social copy according to each brand’s tone of voice.
• Assist with scheduling, publishing and checking content before it goes live.
• Support community management and identify opportunities for brands to engage with their audiences.
• Monitor emerging social media trends, formats, creators and platform updates that may be relevant to our clients.

Research

• Conduct competitor, audience, industry and market research to support client strategies and proposals.
• Research social media best practices and successful campaigns within different industries.
• Identify content gaps, trending topics and opportunities that can be translated into actionable ideas.
• Present research clearly, with sources and recommendations rather than simply compiling information.
• Support research for new business pitches and client proposals.

Content Production & Photoshoots

• Join the team on selected client photoshoots, video shoots and content production days.
• Learn how to operate a camera and understand basic photography and videography principles.
• Assist with shot lists, references, props, equipment and shoot preparation.
• Support the production team during shoots and help ensure required content is captured.
• Learn how social media concepts are translated into actual photo and video assets.
• Assist with organising and reviewing footage and content after shoots.
• No professional camera experience is required. We will teach you, but you must be willing to learn and participate hands-on.

Proposal Creation

• Work with account managers, strategists, designers and other team members to develop proposals based on client briefs.
• Conduct the research needed to strengthen recommendations and creative concepts.
• Help ensure proposals reflect current platform trends, audience behaviour and industry best practices.
• Learn how an agency develops strategies and pitches ideas to prospective clients.
• Digital Campaign Assistance
• Support the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns across social media, email and paid advertising.
• Assist with coordinating campaign assets, timelines and deliverables.
• Support basic performance tracking and reporting.
• Learn how campaign results are evaluated and how insights are translated into improvements.

Team & Client Collaboration

• Attend required team meetings to review projects, brainstorm ideas and align on priorities.
• Participate in selected client meetings to understand briefs, feedback and strategic discussions.
• Communicate proactively with the team when you need clarification or when timelines may be affected.

Best Practices We Expect

Working in an agency means managing multiple projects and deadlines at once. We expect interns to develop strong working habits from the beginning.

Research before asking: Make an effort to find the answer first, then ask when you need clarification.
Ask when you’re unsure: Never guess your way through a client task. Clarify the brief early.
Check your work: Review spelling, formatting, links, brand names, dates and details before submitting anything.
Understand the objective: Don’t create content just because it looks good. Ask what the content is meant to achieve.
Use references: When proposing creative ideas, trends or strategies, provide examples and credible sources.
Be platform-specific: TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms require different approaches. Avoid blindly copying the same content everywhere.
Respect brand guidelines: Follow each client’s tone of voice, visual identity and approval process.
Stay organised: Keep files, research, references and working documents properly labelled and easy for the team to find.
Be proactive: If you spot a trend, competitor activity or opportunity that could help a client, share it.
Be professional on shoots: Arrive prepared and on time, take care of equipment, follow instructions and be ready to help where needed.
Take ownership: If you’re assigned something, you are responsible for following it through or communicating early if you need support.

This is a hybrid role. In-office and remote days may be arranged at the discretion of management.
