Job Description
Role Description
This is a contract role for a Public Relations Executive, based on-site in Singapore. The Public Relations Executive will manage press relations, write and distribute press releases, and build strong relationships with media outlets. The candidate will work on communication strategies to enhance brand visibility, handle public relations campaigns, and provide strategic support to clients. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners will be a key aspect of this role. You need to be a Singaporean or Singapore PR to apply.
What You Will Be Doing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and content creators across print, digital, and broadcast media in Singapore and the region
- Develop and distribute press materials including media releases, pitches, feature angles, and brand backgrounders
- Support the planning and execution of campaigns, brand launches, events, and media activations
- Monitor media coverage, compile clip reports, and track campaign performance against agreed KPIs
- Assist with the management of day-to-day client communications including status updates, meeting agendas, and reporting
- Identify storytelling opportunities and proactively pitch ideas to editors and journalists
- Support social media content planning and influencer coordination where required
- Keep abreast of industry news, trends, and competitive developments relevant to client categories
- Contribute to new business research, credentials preparation, and pitch support
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Press Releases and Media Relations to effectively communicate and pitch to media outlets
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to craft compelling content and deliver clear messaging
- Expertise in Public Relations, with a proven ability to plan and execute PR campaigns
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with journalists, media professionals, and industry stakeholders
- Familiarity with the Singapore media landscape is an added advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
