PapyPress is a Singapore based design & print studio specialising in bespoke event invitations, corporate stationery and packaging.
We work with luxury brands, hospitality groups, educational institutions and discerning private clients to create work that is thoughtful, beautifully crafted and meticulously produced.
We believe great design comes from curiosity, care and attention to detail. We’re looking for a Junior Designer who is excited to learn, enjoys typography and layout, and wants to build a strong foundation in branding and print design.
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
This is a full time role. The successful applicant will be expected to:
Manage Design from Concept to Production
- Liaise directly with clients to determine their requirements as well as advising them with reference to design, format, print production and timelines
- Managing client proposals from typesetting through to design, mockups, print and production
- Ensure design specifications are production-ready
- Support project research, visual references and concept development
- Work closely with the design and production team to refine and execute creative ideas
- Learn about paper, printing techniques, finishing processes and production workflows
Develop Key Visuals and Collaterals for Marketing Campaigns and Events
- Conceptualise and design branding/marketing materials (both in-house and external)
- Assist in the management of website, social media platforms and all other marketing materials, where necessary
What We Are Looking For:
- A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communication or a related field
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a design studio, agency, internship or freelance capacity
- Fresh graduates are welcomed if you’ve a strong portfolio that demonstrates a good eye for typography, layout and composition
- Passionate about design and paper stationery
- Service oriented
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign)
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English
- A positive attitude, curiosity and the ability to take feedback well
