Job Description

Every product in our brand starts with a story β€” a question, a moment, an idea we think children deserve to hear. That story travels a long way before it reaches a family: from a print sketched in our studio, to fabric sourced with care, to an order packed and sent.

You are at the heart of that last stretch.

We are looking for an Operations & Customer Experience Associate to join our team. This is a hands-on role that sits across two things we care deeply about: making sure every order leaves well, and making sure every customer feels looked after.

No prior experience is required. We want someone who takes ownership, pays attention, and genuinely wants to grow with a brand they believe in.

What You Will Do

Order Fulfilment
  • Pick, pack and label every order carefully and accurately before dispatch.
  • Coordinate with our logistics and courier partners to make sure pickups and deliveries happen on time.
  • Investigate missing or damaged parcels and manage claims with courier partners through to resolution.
  • Hold the quality bar on outgoing orders β€” every package that leaves should feel like Sea Apple.
Inventory & Stock
  • Receive incoming shipments β€” check quantities, condition on arrival.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits; flag and follow through on discrepancies.
  • Keep stock records accurate and up to date in our systems.
  • Maintain a warehouse that is organised, clean and easy to navigate.
Customer Experience
  • Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries via Whatsapp and email β€” respond in a way that is warm, helpful and genuinely Sea Apple.
  • Handle after-sales requests: returns, exchanges, delivery concerns. Own the resolution, not just the reply.
  • Spot patterns in what customers are asking or experiencing and flag them to the team β€” your frontline view matters.
  • Work closely with the rest of the team to make the end-to-end shopping experience something customers remember well.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Someone who notices when something is slightly off β€” and does something about it.
  • Organised and methodical, especially when things get busy.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of your area.
  • Reliable and present β€” we are a small team and every person counts.
  • Physically comfortable being on your feet and handling stock for extended periods.
  • Warehouse, retail, logistics or customer service experience is a plus, but not the point.

What You Will Learn

This role gives you a rare, ground-level view of how a modern e-commerce brand actually works β€” from the moment an order is placed to the moment a customer is happy. You will learn how inventory and fulfilment systems run, how a small brand manages logistics, and how direct customer relationships shape a brand’s reputation over time.

For the right person, this is a real foundation where your work is visible and your voice is heard. We are a growing team and we would love for you to grow with us.
