Job Description
About the Role
We are looking for a versatile marketing intern who can move comfortably across content creation, research, and basic design work. This is not a narrow role. You will write, design, research, and help shape how TUPC shows up across platforms and markets. It suits someone curious, fast-learning, and comfortable picking up new tools without needing constant direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Write and edit content for social media, newsletters, and internal communications, including captions, scripts, and short articles
- Support content planning and calendar management across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms
- Conduct market and competitor research to inform campaigns, positioning, and content angles
- Design simple graphics and visual assets using tools such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Express for social posts, presentations, and event collateral
- Assist with light video editing and repurposing of existing footage for short-form content
- Support CEO personal branding content, including drafting captions and helping coordinate shoots
- Help prepare presentation decks and one-pagers for internal and client-facing use
- Coordinate with the in-house graphic designer and external content creators to keep visual output consistent with brand guidelines
- Track basic performance metrics across platforms and summarise learnings
- Support event planning and on-the-ground logistics for TUPC events, including RSVP tracking, guest list management, and vendor coordination
- Help prepare event collateral such as invitations, name cards, signage, and run-of-show documents
- Assist with on-site coverage during events, including photos, short videos, and live social updates
What We’re Looking For
- Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Business, or a related field
- Strong writing skills and comfort adapting tone across different platforms and audiences
- Basic working knowledge of design tools (Canva, Figma, Adobe Express, or similar); video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro) are a plus but not required
- Genuine interest in research, with the ability to turn findings into clear, usable insights
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing several small projects at once
- A self-starter who is curious, asks questions, and takes initiative once given direction
- Prior experience with content creation or design, whether personal, freelance, or academic, is an advantage
- Singaporean or Singapore PR; no work pass required
