Job Description
We’re hiring a Fashion Designer at The Editor’s Market. We design pieces for everyday life — clean, considered, and quietly distinctive. Not trend-driven, but relevant. We’re looking for someone who understands restraint. Someone who knows that good design isn’t about adding more, but refining what matters. This role sits at the intersection of creative direction and real retail performance. In this role, you’ll: Design and develop seasonal and monthly collections Translate trends into wearable, modern pieces Work closely with merchandising and production teams Oversee fittings and refine garments from concept to final product You should have: 2–5 years of womenswear design experience A strong, modern portfolio with a clear point of view A good understanding of both design and retail realities A sharp eye for proportion, fabrication, and detail Strong understanding of the retail customer (what she actually wears, not just what looks good) Ability to design with both creativity and discipline Comfortable working in a fast-paced, retail-driven environment If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
