Key Responsibilities
  • Drive design process from concept to final styling, ensuring creativity and deadlines.
  • Research trends, including shop visits.
  • Create original designs in Adobe Illustrator and CLO 3D.
  • Develop detailed tech packs (specs, BOMs, construction notes).
  • Source sustainable fabrics/trims globally.
  • Present moodboards, colour palettes, and design stories.
  • Manage sampling, suppliers, and production timelines.
  • Collaborate with marketing, e-commerce, and merchandising teams.
  • Maintain digital design archives (PLM, Google Drive, Notion).
  • Utilise AI tools (Midjourney, ChatGPT) for brainstorming.
  • Pattern drafting/draping skills are a plus.
  • Work independently in a fast-paced team environment.

Skills:
  • Strong understanding of garment fit, fabric behavior, and finishing.
  • Excellent eye for detail and modern silhouettes.
  • Fluent in design software: Adobe Creative Suite, CLO 3D.
  • Foster positive, inclusive team dynamics while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious, resilient, and always seeking inspiration beyond the obvious.

What we’re looking for
Solid in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Comfortable with garment construction. Pattern drafting or draping? Even better. You communicate clearly, take feedback well, and bring ideas to the table without waiting to be asked. 2–3 years in fashion or a creative field, with a portfolio that shows taste, range, and some genuine point of view.

A design diploma or degree helps. But honestly? A strong eye and the hunger to grow will take you just as far.

If this sounds like you — send your CV and portfolio to our HR Department at sarahyip@cityblue.com.sg. We’re not looking for perfect. We’re looking for real — someone who cares deeply about the craft, brings their whole self to the work, and wants to build something they’re proud of. We’ll grow together. Come find us.
