Job Description:
What You’ll Do
Photography & Shoot Support
-Shoot product, still life, and basic lifestyle imagery for e-commerce, social, and marketing on a per-shoot or per-project basis.
-Support editorial and campaign shoots, including lighting, equipment, and photo/video setup.
-Follow briefs, shot lists, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency in lighting, composition, colour, and product presentation.
-Check product positioning and details on set, flagging issues before they become post-production work.
Editing & Retouching
-Edit and retouch product and model imagery using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
-Carry out skin retouching, colour correction, product-detail enhancement, and image clean-up to meet approved visual standards.
-Apply commercial retouching techniques while preserving an accurate representation of the product’s colour, finish, shape, and details.
-Translate review feedback into clear revisions and check image quality before submission.
-Prepare final exports with the correct dimensions, formats, colour profiles, and file names.
File Handover & Coordination
-Deliver organised selects, working files, and approved finals to our shared drives after each shoot.
-Meet agreed deadlines, and flag missing info or delays early.
-Work with the Creative team on product details and delivery requirements.
Process Improvement
-Identify recurring issues that cause reshoots, repeated editing rounds, or delivery delays, and suggest practical improvements.
Team Support
-Take direction openly, ask questions when a brief is unclear, and apply feedback thoughtfully.
-Communicate progress and blockers without waiting to be chased.
Who You Are
-You have a portfolio with strong product or still life work. Jewellery or small reflective products are a plus.
-You’re confident in Photoshop and Lightroom, and your retouching looks clean and natural.
-You’re reliable on deadlines and easy to work with on set.
-You can do on-site shoots in Singapore.
-You get what Ask & Embla is about: jewellery as self-expression. You want that to show in the work.
