Job Description

About the Role

We are looking for a rare kind of intern.

Not someone who waits to be handed tasks. Not someone who only wants a neat, clearly defined corporate internship. We are looking for someone sharp, self-directed, commercially curious, AI-native, and hungry to prove what they can do.

CraveFX is a creative studio working across animation, motion graphics, VFX, games, immersive media, AR, VR, web experiences, interactive installations, and emerging technology. We have a wide range of work, but one ongoing challenge is this: how do we package what we do in a way that makes clients immediately understand its value?

That will be your core mission.

You will study our work, understand our strengths, identify industries or clients we should be speaking to, and turn our capabilities into pitchable ideas, case studies, decks, content, outreach angles, or even small proof-of-concept experiments.

This is not a traditional sales internship. You will not be cold-calling from a script. You will be expected to think, test, package, write, research, pitch, and use modern tools, especially AI, to move quickly.

You will have access to senior creative and business leaders, but you will not be micromanaged. We will guide you, but we will not push you every day. The right person for this role should naturally push themselves.

Your Core Mission

Your main directive is to help CraveFX discover better ways to present, sell, and expand our creative and interactive capabilities.

What You’ll Do

Package Our Work:

  • Study our portfolio and understand our full range of creative and technical capabilities.
  • Turn complex creative, animation, VFX, and interactive work into simple, compelling business stories.
  • Build case studies, pitch decks, one-pagers, service explainers, and proposal starter decks.
  • Help us explain not just what we made, but why it mattered to the client.

Find New Opportunities:

  • Research companies, brands, agencies, institutions, government bodies, museums, attractions, schools, and other potential clients.
  • Identify industries where CraveFX’s capabilities could be relevant.
  • Look out for upcoming campaigns, events, tenders, activations, festivals, exhibitions, and brand opportunities.
  • Suggest who we should approach, why we should approach them, and what we should say.

Create Pitchable Ideas:

  • Turn observations into practical pitch concepts.
  • Develop rough campaign ideas, activation ideas, interactive concepts, content angles, or service packages.
  • Help create speculative pitches for lower-stakes opportunities so we can get our name out there.
  • Use AI tools to accelerate research, writing, ideation, visual references, deck structuring, and prototyping.
  • Support Outreach and Business Development.
  • Draft personalised outreach messages, DMs, emails, and pitch hooks.
  • Help maintain prospect lists, lead notes, and follow-up action.
  • Work with the business development team to identify where your research or materials can support live opportunities.
  • Sit in on selected internal discussions or client meetings where appropriate, mainly to observe, learn, and contribute after the session.

Experiment and Build:

  • Use AI, no-code tools, design tools, or lightweight prototypes to test ideas quickly.
  • Create proof-of-concept materials where useful, even if rough.
  • Explore new formats for pitching, selling, or explaining our work.
  • Bring us ideas we did not specifically ask for, as long as they are grounded in real business value.

Who We’re Looking For:

You may be studying or recently graduated from Marketing, Communications, Business, Design, Film, Media, Interactive Media, Entrepreneurship, or a related field.

But your course matters less than your attitude.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Highly self-directed and able to move without constant supervision.
  • AI-native and fluent in using modern tools to research, write, generate, structure, and prototype faster.
  • Articulate, persuasive, and confident in written and spoken communication.
  • Commercially curious, with some understanding of how businesses make money.
  • Interested in creative industries, content, media, technology, or interactive experiences.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and able to turn a loose brief into concrete output.
  • Entrepreneurial, whether through a side project, small business, online store, content channel, community project, freelance work, or personal initiative.
  • Able to sell an idea clearly, including selling yourself in the interview.
  • Opinionated enough to suggest better ways of doing things, but mature enough to take feedback.

Strong Bonus Points

You do not need all of these, but they help:

  • Experience using tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Perplexity, Notion AI, Canva, Figma, Adobe tools, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar.
  • A portfolio, social media page, side hustle, small business, content channel, or self-initiated project.
  • Experience writing pitch decks, proposals, cold emails, social posts, scripts, or campaign ideas.
  • Interest in games, animation, immersive media, interactive installations, digital campaigns, or emerging technology.
  • Any experience selling, pitching, presenting, running an online shop, managing a community, or building an audience.

How to Apply

Email us (jobs@CraveFX.com):

  • Your CV or profile.
  • A short note explaining why this role interests you.
  • Any portfolio, side project, content page, deck, writing sample, business idea, online store, or project that shows initiative.

We are especially interested in seeing evidence that you can think independently, communicate clearly, and make something happen without waiting for permission. We look forward to receiving your application. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be notified. Thank you!
