Role Overview
We are seeking a physiotherapy medical sales/business development executive with strong commercial interest to drive the adoption and sales of our digital solutions in Malaysia. The role combines clinical knowledge, business development and customer engagement—from identifying opportunities and conducting demonstrations to supporting onboarding and building long-term customer relationships.
The successful candidate will engage hospitals, orthopaedic practices, physiotherapy centres, rehabilitation providers and other healthcare organisations across Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales and Business Development
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across private hospitals, orthopaedic practices, physiotherapy centres, rehabilitation providers and other healthcare institutions.
- Build and manage a pipeline of prospective customers from initial outreach through product demonstration, proposal, negotiation and deal closure.
- Achieve agreed sales, revenue and customer acquisition targets.
- Develop account-specific proposals and commercial packages based on customer needs.
- Support distributor and channel partner activities where required.
- Represent Kinexcs at healthcare events, conferences, workshops and industry meetings.
2. Clinical Product Demonstration
- Conduct engaging demonstrations of our solutions for clinicians, hospital management and other decision-makers.
- Explain each product’s clinical applications, workflow and value proposition clearly and credibly.
- Assess customer workflows and recommend suitable ways to incorporate the solutions into existing clinical services.
- Support pilot programmes, product trials and clinical evaluation activities.
3. Customer Onboarding and Adoption
- Train physiotherapists, doctors and healthcare staff on the effective use of the products.
- Provide initial on-site and remote support during customer onboarding and implementation.
- Follow up regularly with customers to encourage consistent usage and identify adoption barriers.
- Work with customers to develop sustainable operational and commercial workflows.Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and identify renewal, expansion and cross-selling opportunities
4. Market Development
- Gather feedback from clinicians, patients and healthcare organisations to support product and service improvements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer needs and relevant developments in Malaysia’s rehabilitation and digital health sectors.
- Identify potential strategic partners, key opinion leaders and clinical collaborators.
- Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, customer feedback and market insights to management.
- Collaborate with Kinexcs’ commercial, clinical, product and regulatory teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Physiotherapy or related discipline.At least 2 years of experience in physiotherapy, rehabilitation, medical device sales, healthcare business development or a related field.
- Good understanding of orthopaedic rehabilitation, functional assessment and clinical workflows.
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Comfortable conducting sales outreach, product demonstrations and commercial discussions
- Self-motivated, organised and able to manage the full sales cycle independently.
- Willingness to travel within Malaysia for customer meetings, demonstrations and implementation support.
- Proficiency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin or other local language capabilities would be advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Existing relationships with private hospitals, orthopaedic specialists, physiotherapy centres or rehabilitation providers.
- Experience selling medical devices, rehabilitation technologies, digital health platforms or healthcare software.
- Experience supporting product trials, clinical implementations or hospital procurement processes.
- Demonstrated interest in developing a career at the intersection of physiotherapy, technology and commercial development.
