Junior Graphic & Textile Designer
Job Description
YeoMama Batik is looking for a visual storyteller as our Junior Graphic & Textile Designer. Our visual storyteller is a person with a passion for fashion, colour and creativity! You’re imaginative, detail-oriented and excited to bring ideas to life across digital content, merchandise and textile prints #creative.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create visual assets for social media, newsletters, website and other brand communications
- Design artwork for merchandise, packaging and printed materials
- Develop original textile prints, patterns, motifs and colourways
- Adapt artwork for digital, print and textile formats
- Maintain a consistent brand identity across all designs
- Research trends in graphic design, fashion, textiles and social media
- Other ad-hoc duties and assignments required by management
Requirements:
- Full-time position based in Singapore
- Salary: $2,600–$3,200, depending on experience and portfolio
- Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Textile Design, Visual Communication, Fashion Design or a related field
- Fresh graduates and candidates with up to two years of experience are welcome
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Good eye for colour, typography, layout and composition
- Creative, organised and attentive to detail
- Able to work independently and collaborate with a team
- Textile or surface-pattern design experience is an advantage but not required
