Job Description

Overview

We are looking for a Video Editor to bring SACRED’s content and teachings to life. You will be part of our core team, helping translate our ideas into clear, engaging visual content.

We are not looking for a visionary or “ideas” person. We are looking for a strong executor – someone organised and able to deliver high-quality work efficiently and consistently.

You will be responsible for the entire video editing process – from colour-grading, editing, subtitling, adding effects, and optimising videos for multiple platforms. Your work will support content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook) and online courses across our various brands (SACRED Institute, Future Ready Men, and BE Dynamic).

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit short-form and long-form videos for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and online courses.
  • Optimise videos for engagement using pacing, music, framing, and on-screen text.
  • Edit course content for clarity and learning (lesson structure, visual aids, chaptering, summaries).
  • Create hooks, titles, and thumbnails to improve performance.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice, tone, and visual style.
  • Repurpose long-form content (webinars, workshops, podcasts) into short clips, teasers and highlights.
  • Upload videos across social and digital platforms, ensuring quality, accuracy, and proper formatting across all channels.
  • Stay updated on platform trends and best practices (formats, pacing, text styles, audio trends), and incorporate trends into videos where appropriate
  • Organise media assets, project files, and workflows for efficiency.
  • Support basic filming when needed (simple shoots, lighting, sound).

Requirements

  • Proficient in video editing tools such as DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, and Descript.
  • Proficient in colour grading, audio balancing, captions, and motion graphics.
  • Strong sense of narrative flow: knows how to structure a story with a hook, build-up and payoff.
  • Able to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visuals.
  • Able to write compelling hooks, titles, and on-screen text.
  • Strong sense of pacing and emotional timing.
  • Able to remove unnecessary content while preserving depth and nuance.
  • Understands audience psychology and what drives retention and learning.
  • Able to edit course material with clear structure and logical flow; use callouts, overlays, and visual metaphors to highlight and reinforce key ideas; and know how to support different learning styles (e.g. visual learners & auditory learners).

Additional Criteria

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating editing and storytelling.
  • Experience in social media and course content editing.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Aligned with SACRED’s mission and values.
  • Comfortable working in a team focused on personal responsibility, growth, and emotional awareness.
  • Based in Singapore.
  • Willing to complete a test task.
